Dear Family Member:
By now you have been notified by telephone of the fact that we have had one positive test result for COVID-19 at our facility. As of this moment, this is the only case that has been diagnosed in either residents or staff.
We are closely monitoring all of our residents and patients by taking a full set of vitals, including measuring their oxygenation levels, each shift.
Although we cannot make daily calls to all family members, rest assured that if your family member develops any symptoms, you will be notified by telephone by one of our nurses.
We have notified the Chicago Department of Health and the Illinois Department of Public Health. If additional patients or employees show symptoms, they will be tested in accordance with the latest CDC and IDPH testing guidelines.
Our fight against COVID-19 remains at full force. Our commitment to the health and well-being of our patients and staff is unwavering. Our staff has been working vigilantly around-the-clock to monitor our patients and we are supporting our staff in every way possible. At present, we have an adequate supply of personal protective equipment (PPE), and continue to purchase as needed.
