Letter to Families: Restoring Group Activities

We are excited to announce that Fairmont Care will begin restoring group activities at our facility beginning on Monday, July 27, 2020. We have worked with an Activity Consultant to develop a program that will be engaging, yet ensure that our residents stay safe. Some highlights of the plan include:

Letter to Families: Chicago Travel Order, Restrictions

As you know, there are currently many “hotspots” throughout the country that have shown a dramatic rise is cases of COVID-19. In order to keep our residents and employees safe, we have adopted the City of Chicago Emergency Travel Order and will be requiring any employees who may travel to any of these areas to quarantine for 14 days.

Outdoor Visitation Protocol Letter and Plan

I am pleased to inform you that Fairmont Care has formulated a plan which will allow for outdoor visitation that meets the requirements of the Illinois Department of Public Health. This Plan is attached for your reference.

Visitation Good News Letter to Families

WE HAVE GOOD NEWS! Today we received word from the Illinois Department of Public Health that long-term care facilities may allow outdoor visitation for residents under certain conditions.

Testing Protocol Letter to Families

I am writing to let you know about our new testing protocol for residents and staff members at Fairmont Care. As I am sure you have heard, the Governor of Illinois has mandated testing for all nursing homes staff and residents. We have been aggressively testing since the beginning of this pandemic, and we wanted to explain in more detail how we will continue going forward.
